Customer Reviews:
1 out of 5 stars Poor execution   October 23, 2009
J. Armendariz (Englewood, CO USA)
This audio learning program is just a waste of time and money for listeners. Stephen R. Covey is only the co-star in the program by which Franklin Covey should make this clear to consumers upfront. The main presenter is disjointed and distracted, like he had too much coffee.....

Learning skills we have but need the small tidbits of tender care to complete. Thank you Mr. Covey.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   September 27, 2006

One of the best business CDs I have listened to. The four disciplines are presented in a very accessible way, with many examples. I found myself making many mental notes of actions to take on a personal level and with my team.

3 out of 5 stars Weak on it's own   March 19, 2006

I attended this training session in person, and purchased the CD's from Amazon to share with team mates who were not able to go. While I believe the CD's are a good reinforcement and reminder for me.... alone, they lack meaning in many areas and would be weak training at best. This is mostly a recording of a live training session, without the benefit of the workbooks or group interaction.

2 out of 5 stars Nothing New or Exciting About Execution Here   June 21, 2004

This audio learning program is just a waste of time and money on the part of the listeners. Nothing new or exciting about Execution here, except showing off jargons like EXQ (Execution Quotient), and using big words like the 4 Disciplines--- including:1)Focus on Wilding Important Goals, 2)Use of Scoreboard, 3)Translating Loofty Goals into Actions, and 4)Holding People Accountable for Results.

I think people in undergraduate Business Programs or MBA Programs already learned these common sensical staff.

Franklin Covey needs to catch up, innovate, and deliver practical stuff for practising managers!

Stephen R. Covey is only the co-star in the program by which Franklin Covey should make this clear to consumers upfront.

Quite disappointed with this purchase because it is very theoretical and the ideas are not easily executed in the Age of Trust Erosion between corporations and their downsized labour force these days.

Try Peter Drucker's Effective Executive, you will get far far more.
