 Exactly what I wanted December 2, 2009

I use this cable to connect my laptop to my 52" LCD TV. It's great because all connections needed are in one cable and it's long enough to reach my sofa. Now I can use my TV to share things such as online video posts and online tv episodes with large groups of friends.

I have no problem with these, they work fine with my laptop and LCD TV. I had to figure out some settings on my PC to get the TV to display, but that is a PC setting and not a paramater of the cable set.

7/09 Update. I finally got on a chat session with someone from Cables To Go. Apparently you have to change resolution settings on your PC. With some trial and error, the bf finally figured it out. However, the display does not use the full TV screen. The computer uses about 1/2 of the screen. But it's still bigger than my 20" monitor. I do wish the full 46" of the TV screen was used for viewing though.
All in all a good buy. I wish there were some instructions that came with the cable though. I'd now give the product 4 stars.

This came with no instructions and I cannot find anything online. Unfortunately, neither my boyfriend nor I can get this to work on our Sony Bravia TV. :(
