 Very nice stereo for the price July 15, 2010

Ordered this stereo for my studio. The sound is very good. The only thing is that I am not able to clearly get a radio station I like. The stereo comes with an antenna but hasn't done much for me. The CD's sound awesome on the unit. Would recommend for the price.
 CD Player stopped working July 13, 2010

I loved this thing until about 3 months after we bought it and the CD player stopped working. We didnt buy the extended warrenty so we were SOL. we went about a year with it and all of a sudden the CD player started working again...but not for long. After another 3-4 months, it quit on us again. The sound is/was great, and it was very easy to use and loved that i can put it on the wall. I would only recomend this product if you buy the warrenty for it. Everything else was great. I am now looking for one that is similar but that i can hook my mp3 player up to it.

I had a Boze CD player for about 6 years, and it got to the point where it wouldn't play some of my old CDs or ones that I made on my computer, so I decided to replace it. I thought this Philips MC235B would be just OK, but I really like it, and the sound is great. I also like the sleek, modern look of it.

Unlike some folks here, I have had my unit for over a year and I have zero problems with it. It plays everything I throw at it! The sound is great for such a small system - a nice bonus! I have always kept the unit together as I don't have that much room in my office, but it really sounds nice and can pump up the volume pretty high for its size. I really like this one, and if I ever need another shelf system, I hope this one is still available!
