 Very close to needing the fire dept.. No really June 7, 2010

Shipping was very fast about three days. Box and CD player looked to be in good shape. I plugged it up and pressed the CD open button and nothing happened. I checked to see if it was taped closed for shipping and it was not. I pressed open again and it did open and started smoking from both sides of the unit and was extremely hot to the touch. After it cooled I received my return authorization label and two day later it is headed back to GPX.. Never but this unless your home insurance is up to date and you have extra time to play the shipping and receiving game for a week.

The Fallen Angel with a broken Wing (Dark Corner Deep Within the Mind)
I got a Silver colored version of this stereo and it's a good stereo to me. But the phrase ... You get what you paid for still applies here. I've had mine for maybe a year or less. The motorized CD door is starting to slip that often I have to give it a push boost to make it open up. Mainly a good stereo but one thing I hate about it is that when you power it on the volume is preset at 17 ! Almost FULL BLAST so unless your quick with the volume button the radio blasts at you immediately you turn in on. 8-9 is loud enough for me. XD But other wise if you're looking for a affordable radio for your bedroom or other small room this would be a good one.

This item was purchased for my daughter. She saw it in a store but they never had it in stock. She found it online so I purchased it for her. She absolutly loves this sound system and plays it every day.

The Wellers
The best description of this produce is: you get what you pay for. I found the sound to be very good considering the price. However after using the CD portion of the product approximately 100 times over a 2 year time period, the CD player stopped working. Without any warning the CD player stop functioning; up until that day it worked flawlessly. I had used the product mostly with my IPOD, that feature is still functioning.
