I bought this product. It spent about 30 minutes out of the box before I packed it up and returned it. Never even tried to hook up to my computer.

After cleaning the LP, I put it on the turntable and started to play it. The first thing I noticed was that the stylus seemed to be collecting dust. (But I had cleaned the LP!!) Then I noticed it looked like the strip that had been played had dust on it. I took it off to discovered that what I was seeing was actually tiny pieces of the LP actually being shaved off by the stylus. The tone arm has no balanceing mechanism and is really heavy. After cleaning the LP again you can visibly see stripes in the three places (I know, trying two more times was dumb.) where I played the LP on this turntable.

Used it for about 1 week and it played relatively fine. A few LPs jumped a bit, but the big problem was that it started slowing down like crazy. It gets back to normal speed every so often, but drops back to a slower speed eventually. Tried to check the belt and tons of cheap plastic parts shot out at me.

And mini-CD with the software!?! What decade is this??

This is the same as the Innovative Technologies IT-UT201 that has the IT logo not the Grace logo.

This is not an audiophile product but it easily allows you to download your records to your PC. The audio quality sounds nice and you can optimize the recording with the free software.

I have a sign in my shop that says "The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory."

I wish I had heeded it and hadn't bought this product. It produced poor sound right out of the box, sort of like an AM radio in a thunderstorm. Grace audio sent me a new needle but it performed almost as badly.
I gave up after several weeks and returned it to Amazon. I have ordered many items from them and this is my first bad experience. Fotunately they are a quality outfit and made the process painless. They will continue to be my first choice for online purchases.
