| Customer Reviews: Well, mine works great! January 14, 2010 Mark Williams (Portland, OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this radio and it worked fine right out of the box. The sound is good and the turntable works fine. After reading the other reviews I seem to have been lucky to get a good one. So if it works, it's great and, if not, then I guess it wouldn't be that great.
Is this a helpful review or what?
Broken December 30, 2009 Jeffrey W. Williamson 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Regardless of whether it was the shippers fault or not, this record player had plenty of bubble wrap in it to protect it. The support for the turntable was not screwed in as it was supposed to be and the glue that was supporting it failed thus the turntable had fallen. I had to sit in my living room on Christmas day trying to fix this for my father. You can imagine my disdain. Once I got the support screwed back in and I attempted playing a record I was greeted by the lovely sounds of... nothing. Actually I could hear it if I got my ear really close to the speaker. I have ordered a replacement needle, but if this doesn't work I can safely say my overall satisfaction with this product is very low. It may look nice and the radio may work, but I didn't buy it for the radio!

I recieved this item as a gift and the records that I have would not play because the needle skipped very badly. you have to moved the needle onto the right size of record to be played. The sound is terrible. I don"t know how to fix it.
